First of all. Not sure if this is in the right section because this is not a kodi issue.
Lately i have released my sound sounds flat and then saw my sub does not generate any bass.
I have a windows 7 PC running kodi.
HDMI cable connecting to the TV.
Optical sound cable running from tv to LG soundbar
The soundbar only has 2 inputs, a optical and a 3.5mm jack (aux).
If i go into Windows sound settings my LGTV picks up as a sound divice, but only option is Stereo. So im guessing this is where the problem is?
If i swtich channels between HDMI for the PC to the xbox, there is bass aswell as playing audio through bluetooth from my phone. So the sub is working.
I have done some reading and some people suggests that HDMI from a PC is always 2.0 and never 2.1? Can this be?
