Hi All,

I have 2 laptops running Windows 10 Pro 32bit and on both I have been using XBMC 13.2 fine.
Today I removed XBMC and installed Kodi 16.2 on both and have odd video issues.
The startscreen looks fine, but when I start a movie, the colors become odd and the video is distorded.
When I end the movie, the menu screen looks fine again.
When I open the menu System/Settings, the same thing happens, odd/distorded video.
How can I solve this?

Updated drivers for graphics card? (and potentially windows updates, but less likely)


Kodi 16 now uses a newer version of DirectX, so likely its either the graphics card (or pipeline to it) palette shifting, or the hardware no longer be able to run the software requirements.

How to fix? assuming its not drivers?

Update hardware, or downgrade kodi.

I am using the last video drivers, there has not been any development for a long time :-(
Update hardware, that's a shame, it's a fine laptop.
