request audio streaming to multiroom (ie. airtunes...)
#1
hi,
for the development of the linux branch you maybe consider an option in the gui/app to stream audio to different places/rooms,
so to speak to different sound devices in different rooms.
easy to use as an devices is apples airport and its currently working with linux and raop-play.

maybe see more on airport/airtunes
see more on working linux version raop-play,
and a workingstory with amarok, alsa and juste-porte

hope to see this coming up after everyones search for a somehow selected hardware
(ps3/xbox360/mac-mini/mac-mini2?/apple-tv/pc?)
as new home for the xbmclinux,

regards,
ozett

ps.: keep up good work! and many thanx so far!

hi,
sorry, didnt get the right somehow. i thought after reading the sticky,
which is saying: do here "# Requests for new features which are Linux specific",
here is the right place to give early inputs for development-layout.

The feature you are asking for has nothing to do with Linux, it would be classified as what we call a 'platform independent' feature, and with that said know that it has already been requested several times before (which you would have known if you searched and read before you posted). Now go read this topic-thread instead => http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=6207
