Yep, WeTek Media Player is the Kodi fork optimized for this box.

I have the Rii i25 and i8, which work nicely with OpenELEC on x86.
I just don't know if these remotes work under android.

It still baffles me why WeTek do not offer this as an option when purchasing the Hub ???
Quote:I've been doing some testing with a 1080p 23.976fps video file. I'm getting the standard problem that every 1000 frames, a frame is being repeated. This indicates that the Hub is not setting the fps properly via HDMI.
The test file I am using can be downloaded here: http://st7.us/MotionBarsH264.7z . Play the 1080/23.976 file and watch for the repeated frame. Once you see it you should see the same glitch 1000 frames later. I can reproduce this reliably in both Android (Wetek Media Player) and LibreELEC (Kodi.)
I have run the same file in Kodi on my Windows laptop plugged into the same AV/TV with the same HDMI cable and the test file is running correctly with no repeated frame every 1000 frames.
For the record, my Hub is plugged into a Yamaha RX-V673 and that is connected to a Panasonic TX-P42ST50B, all via HDMI.

I Have the new Wetek Hub and I knew that the Kodi krypton alpha version is not stable but thought Wetek media player of at least Libreelec would be. To my surprize that wasn´t the case. I get multiple freezes every now and then and the only solution is to pull the cord. Kodi just freezes and doesn´t react to anything. On Wetek media player and on LE I´m using Rapier skin. I´d be very surprized to hear the freezing is caused by skin. On LE I´m using Samsung Evo 16GT MSD.
Naturally I have updated (OTA) the Hub to the latest version.
My Hub is connected to AVR and from there to my TV. I´m using flirc and Logitech harmony Companion.
Any help would be more than appreciated.

As a side note the Hub's has a large heat sink attached to the SoC.
The case itself is also metal plastic - designed to dissipate heat.

Does it freeze up even if you don't use Kodi/WeTek Media Player? As in, if it's just sitting there or maybe using a different app?

Yes. I'm getting random freezing and need to pull the power too to reset (on WMP and LibreELEC). Are you using a local USB drive? Mine has locked on navigating a WD USB drive. I thought it also maybe the skin accessing the drive. Haven't tried with my NAS yet. I'll do that today.
The Hub instantly reboots on plugging in that USB Drive (Android or LibreELEC). Ok if I boot with drive already inserted. I will retry another USB drive today too.
I went looking for the Kodi log files but no idea where in Android...
