Linux Caching to secondary drive
#1
My HTPC setup consist of E-machines dual core 2.6 Ghz, 4GB of ram, SanDisk 240 GB SSD as main drive and WD 320 GB HDD with Ubuntu 14.04 and Kodi 16.1. I have read several articles that stated using the Zero Cache was bad for SSD's due to all the writing/re-writing processes. My question is, is there a way to set the cache to go to my hard drive and not my SSD? Thanks for any help it is greatly appreciated as I really enjoy learning about Kodi and Linux. Thank you.
