All of the videos show a large thumbnail of the movie over the entire bottom left corner of my screen, covering up about 20% of the movie. Can't figure out how to get rid of it.

Did you bring up the information panel? Try pressing "I".

Just figured it out. I am on Windows 10. Figured out that it was my mouse. If the curser was on any part of the screen, the thumbnail would stay on the screen. Moved it off the screen and pressed Esc.
