Hi there !

I downloaded TMM to test it before the build of a DIY NAS server.
It was a very great and complete tool.

I want to know if it's possible to just rename movies or TV shows without create a .nfo file and other meta ?
In the same way, is it possible to disable the creation of a folder when movies are renamed except for sagas ? (I haven't managed to do this.)

Well, no, currently not (and not planned)
To properly rename, you will have to scrape / edit metadata before.
This always creates the NFO, since this is what the tool is meant for.
(Otherwise you don't need TMM at all and could rename on filesystem directly..?)

If the movie folder renamer setting is empty, the movie should stay in same folder on rename.

I ask this question because when I legally purchased (coughcough) movies, they do not have proper file names. By laziness I use the automatic scraper that works fine to rename my films always with the same pattern.

For the movie folder it's perfect, thanks for the advice
