Win Videos not launching with Kodi
#1
Hi folks,

I have some issues to launch videos with Kodi these last weeks. I have the same issues with my Rpi on OSMC.
The meta are grabbed from the TVDB, but when I want to play videos, nothing is happening...

However the videos are starting well with MPC+HC.

There is the log from my computer :

http://pastebin.com/Hhma7VYg

Have you some ideas where it comes from?

Best's

You need to turn debugging on, reboot, try to play something, then post your log.

Hi,

I produce a new log with your recommandations. http://pastebin.com/ff4gNFcv
All my files are on a Synology NAS and I am using Mysql to have a synchronised library between my computer and the Rpi.

For exemple, Mr Robot S02E05 is working but Mr Robot S02E06 not working on Kodi.

Both are working with MPC+HC...

It seems there is a bug on line 1574 from the log, but I don't know how to interprete that.

Not sure but take a look at ownership and permission of the files on your nas.

It seems fine, the permissions allow reading files for all my users and the guess login

Is there any difference between those that work and those that don't?

Hi,

there is no difference between the 2 files. I create .info files with mkvinfo :

the first one, doen't work : http://pastebin.com/bLtRPSeF

the second one, is working : http://pastebin.com/EiYiCswe

No there have the same permissions.

It is really weird. I cut the 2 mkv into another repertory, clean the Kodi database, and recut the files into the watched repertory on Kodi and now there are both working.

I don't understand... Huh

I don't know what repertory means. Did you possibly change the filename when moving the file?

Ah my bad. I wanted to say "folder" haha

I didn't change the name of the files when I put them back in the folder
