Since i installed Kodi on my new hardware, i miss the content in the "new films", "new series" widget.
Series and films of course imported in the database.

Now i have only the loading loop.
If i click in the film section i can see all my movies with infos and fanart.
But why are the widgets empty?

I use Kodi 16.1 on my windows 10 and actual Xperience1080.

Edit: Solved, reset the skin settings.

I've been having the same problem for the past week or so but haven't changed my hardware or anything else about my setup.

What did you do to sort out the issue?

1. Check the log
2. Remove movie folder and remap/rescan the folder
3. finally reset the skin settings...that do the trick for me

Dont know why this happens, by now everything worked fine :-)

Have you try to reinstall Kodi?
Its not a mess, better to reconfigure for an hour than have problems for a couple of weeks ;-)

I love this software but hate how it just randomly "breaks".
