I have the same issue. And If you change the resolution and change it back, you also get a funky full screen. http://imgur.com/a/XSXQm

Why on earth are you changing resolution?

Because at normal resolution kodi interface dont fit screen limits and some menus/buttons are out of screen.

nickr, why WOULDN'T I be able to change my resolution? lol. I can do whatever I want in the app can't I? And when I return back to normal resolution, I'd expect it to correct itself. Or is that wrong thinking. And this is a new issue with alpha 3 and windows 10, has nothing to do with my TV.

I tried the nightly build of 30/8 and works fine.
Thanks.

I tried same build (30/8) in other pc, in other TV. Same results. Changing to windowed mode or changing resolution to 720 or other no resolves the problem (in my case)
Temporal workaround/solution that works for me:
1. Change window scaling in win10 to 100%. Kodi fits screen
2. In kodi use "video calibration to NARROW the screen under the screen limits
3 Change window scaling in win 10 to desired
4. Expand kodi in video calibration to fit the screen.

This problem is on kodi 17. Kodi 16.2 works perfectly with win10 and window scaling > 100%. I dont install any v17 alphas. Directly beta1 and nightly 30/8

I noticed this a little while ago and I think that it is a wait and see type of thing cause the Kodi team is all volunteers who can only work on the things that they can. I am a unique user in that I do skinning so I constantly restart Kodi often and on restart I just toggle the Fullscreen window option so I can use it the way I need to. That is OK for me since I restart Kodi often anyways and can wait until someone has the time or inclination to look into this.

I have noticed that the issue appears from version efcc434 and up.

I provided all the info I have noticed in this thread and this thread but as mentioned above Kodi is all volunteer and I respect that so I can wait until someone has the time to look into it.

I would have asked those that are experiencing the same if they could confirm unequivocally that version (efcc434) works and the next available version (450eecd) does not as I wanted to show the exact moment things stopped working as that may be beneficial to any DEV who has the time to pursue this but I cannot find a link to them... Sad Huh

Thanks.

And where can I download these versions?
In http://mirrors.kodi.tv/nightlies/win32/ the older verion is from 18/8

In the other hand... I install today nightly (9/9) over beta1. The screen configuration is correct. I dont know if the problem is corrected or the screen limits saved in beta1 remains. Later I will instal from scratch and notify

PD: In v17 I use yor skinmod. Thanks

EDIT: Experiments I do so far with no screen problems
1. rename user data
2. rename whole kodi roaming directory
3. Uninstall kodi. Install kodi nightly 09/09
4. Uninstall kodi. Install kodi krypton beta 1
5. Uninstall kodi. Install Kodi jarvis 16.1. Actualize to Kodi krypton beta 1 (same case when kodi fall in trouble)

Always the screen is at correct resolution.
Do win10 memorize the correct resolution in somewhere now that I calibrate screen?
