Hello everyone,

I bought an Android TV and installed Kore.
The problem is that sometimes the Android TV IP and the Kore IP are the same, but if I turn off my Android TV and turn it on again, its IP changes and Kore can't connect after that.

What can I do?

Fire up your web browser.
Open your router's homepage and find the DHCP settings.
Set the tv to a static IP linked to its Mac address.

It's usually possible (and simple) to do that - if not there might be something in the tv's menu that lets you set a static IP.

Sorry troogggy, not sure if I understand...
I know how to modify my network in my Android TV (just like this video: https://youtu.be/9eLnaWmVyKw). I already try it and then reinstalled Kore, defined the IP manually so it matches with the one I put in the Android TV... but it doesn't connect also.

What can I do?

Sorry, don't use that remote.
You said the problem was the tv re-starting with a different IP - is that not the case now

No, Yatse doesn't connect.

I'll try to explain it clearly:
1. I turn on my Android TV.
2. I go to Settings > Wi-Fi > Press my home wireless network > Modify Network > Advanced Options > Static
3. Then I set my Kore manually and I insert the same IP of my Android TV
4. My Android TV IP and Kore IP are the same but... they don't connect.

I can also say that my router's homepage doesn't allow me to set a static IP.

Can you check the tv is actually at that IP?
I use Fing on android for that but there are plenty of alternatives.
