Apparently there is no "set director thumb option" for some reason. Anybody knows if it is possible to add their pictures? Would be of great help, thanks.

Why cant folow...
Find in includesaribles.xml variable name from my post,add that line for container that content director.
Open right list view and you will have images for director, provided by helper script..image are from google
