[RELEASE] PowerFLV.com (Video) Plugin
#46
I tried this on an older build of xbmc, and then new build by tech
The powerflv plugin doesn't work on either build.
I got the latest plugin from here:
http://theendofthelongestline.de/xbox/do.../index.php

Basically I press A to start the script, and it makes loading noises but nothing happens for hours. I haven't gotten it to run once.

Above where?
If you're talking about the site I linked, I did download the updated version. The one dated 12-3-07, both the package and the single download link are dated the same.

To Nuka1195:
You should have said there's an update link within this thread, because default mode to see posts in this forum is newest first, oldest last, so you're direction yielded no help at all

To the one who posted a "working version" of powerflv script:
I tried it on March 08, 2008 build by tech, still doesn't work, there is a error log, but it is lengthy and I don't want to write it all down, is there a place where these logs are saved to the xbox HDD? I look in root/xbmc.log and root/xbmc.old.log but these logs don't contain errors from the python scripts

Plex you need to watch your attitude.

We both know that you are the one with the "attitude", first you mock me with a rhetorical question exposing your opinion of how stupid you think I am, and now you try to condescend on me with your ill believed righteousness
I have done neither to you.

Ah before I forget, your latest post sounded like a threat as well.

No, that is not the default sort order in this forum.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

ok plex, i'll add you to the ignore list, if you were unable to determine what i meant, after i helped you, a simple read of the thread would have sufficed. good luck.

I don't think you said the things you did because you were worried if I had received the help. My last post indicated that I had "figured it out." Maybe you're mad as the process in which I figured it out, because it was not a direct effect of your help. Maybe you're mad at me because I said your post was not helpful to me. If you take these things as an attitude or an insult, well then so be it. I'd rather not talk to a person who behaves this way in a conversation anyways. If you didn't like me in the first place Nuka you should have placed me on your ignore list a long time ago, before you started this confrontation and started spamming in this thread. I'm also done replying in this useless banter.

Gamester:
"No, that is not the default sort order in this forum."
I registered with the defaults, checked my email, activated my account, and then viewed a thread. Only until I changed the sort order in my user control panel, did it change. So apparently for me, this was the default sort order. Maybe you when you registered a long time ago it wasn't, but now it is.

It was default for me also (Newest first, Oldest last) and I haven't changed my settings.

That's strange, it has so far worked for everyone else. Are you running it as a plugin? I imagine it wouldn't work at all as a script.

If you are trying to run it as a script, I guess I was unclear. It's a video plugin and should be installed as such.
