FWIW I've locked my player settings to the settings below and haven't noticed any real playback issues on <=1080p content. No crashes when resuming HEVC.

I have a NUC6i5SYK using the 6th generation processor, so I have this issue too.
I've read this problem before, and I came back to see if there was any progress with this newest version 19 of Kodi, but it appears not.
The NUC seems like it is discontinued or abandoned by Intel. That's too bad, because it makes a perfect media PC other than trying to resume playback on x265 files.
This time, I am subscribing to the topic so that I can receive any updates.
