Kodi 17 Myth Tv
#1
I'm having some issues getting MythTV to work on Kodi 17. Here's a copy of the log http://paste.ubuntu.com/23138663/

Has anyone else had the same issue in Kodi 17?

Looks like your mythbackend isn't set up correctly.
What version of mythtv are you running?

From log
Running on Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS, kernel: Linux x86 64-bit version 4.4.0-36-generic
Assuming default install of Mythbuntu 16.04 it is at least mythtv 0.28, but could be fixes/0.28

ERROR: AddOnLog: MythTV PVR Client: Failed to connect to MythTV backend on 192.168.70.131:6544 with pin 0000

On machine running mythbackend, mythtv-setup General screen check that "Security PIN (required)" is set to 0000

Really need debug log from Kodi see 6 Troubleshooting of http://kodi.wiki/view/MythTV_PVR

I just did a fresh install using fritsch's guide (http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=231955).

Has anyone been able to configure mythtv-backend using this setup (running the backend on the same NUC as Kodi)? Is there some type of change that I need to make to the openbox autostart file?

When I try to SSH in remotely to configure the backend I get the following:

chris@localhost ~]$ ssh -X [email protected] /usr/bin/mythtv-setup
