(In Kodi 17.0 Beta1 with MP TV Server backend)
Coming from MP world, I was used to a more consistent management of recording status. This is convenient to confirm nunexperienced users (yes, we have some at home...) that their recording schedules are running properly.
In Kodi, I can see the status of recordings in the list of channels (red dot on the right) and also on the main screen (below recent channels). This is fine. Showing the red dot for on-going recording on the list of recordings would be an approvement also.
My problem is that, when a recording starts, it is reported in the UI (red dot + popup message + "Recording in progress" item) 1 or 2 minutes later. Is there a way to have a more real-time update of the UI for this? It is a bit confusing for home users.
