I have searched the forums and tried Google as well but I have as yet to found a solution to this. I am currently using, for the lack of a 2nd STB, IPTV streaming from my satellite receiver to a HTPC running Kodi 16.1 in a 2nd room. I have had everything set up and working perfectly and just recently introduced an EPG from Schedules Direct.
Unfortunately, with SD, Kodi or the PVR IPTV Simple Client add-on aren't parsing the <sub-title lang="en"> tag in the XMLTV file. Normally, for the sports entries this contains the team information (team a v team b).
Is there a fix for this or am I missing something on my end? By the way, I am using Kodi on Windows with the Confluence skin.
