numbers are in milliseconds. "+" means audio is ahead of video and you have to set the same amount of delay on your AVR to correct the AV-Sync error.
@hdmkv: numbers for Shield 3.3, Kodi 17 beta (10/28)
Dolby TrueHD - +48ms
DTS-HD Master Audio - +48ms
DTS-HD High Resolution Audio - +32ms
Downloaded sample files,Thanks!We'll try to optimize it.
Upgrade:We already optimized all of these files < +60ms,It's a mistake from version v1.2.4
You can test it in v1.2.3 now.
Thanks @wesk05, that's quite revelatory. For DTS-HRA, tested the 'Ant-Man' sample @OlivierQC shared and I definitely notice the a/v synch issue. Same w/the 'Queen Rock Montreal & Live Aid (1981)' concert BD rip I have w/DTS-HRA. Can't say the same for TrueHD/ATMOS, DD+ and DTS-HD MA videos, even though your testing obviously shows offsets pretty high (especially compared to nVidia Shield) for TrueHD in particular (and I imagine ATMOS too). Maybe I'm more sensitive to video judders/microstutters than audio synch issue .
And thanks @mirror88 for taking all these A/V playback related issues seriously and working at resolving or optimizing.
