Hello,
I am looking for new media player to replace my current med8erer 600. Reason is no h265 playback. I have mostly 1080p mkv content and 7.1 speakers setup.
What is a must:
1. Perfect framerate switching (23.976...)
2. Perfect dts/dd/dts-hd/dd truehd passthrough to my receiver.
3. H265 playback
Also Twitch playback of 1080p/60fps would be nice, as my current android tv can't play it smoothly.
According to hardware section of this forum, Zidoo x9s should meet my criteria perfectly, just not sure about Twitch. I am also thinking about Beebox-s 7200(kaby lake i5), but that one is almost 3x more expensive.
Do you think I should get Zidoo or go safer route with Beebox ? Any Zidoo owner could please check Twitch 1080/60 playback ?
