I know I am not the first one to ask for this but I think this would be a great feature for favorites. Maybe each favorite could have a different border or something that would let us know if the episodes have all been watched or if there are new episodes to be seen.

I'm guessing you're talking about favourites inside an add-on, rather than kodi favourites.
If so you should raise that with the add-on author rather than here.

Can it be done in kodi favourites? Perhaps a single button to update and highlight any addon that might have an unwatched item. I use kodi for all my tv series and must frequently click my way into them to see if a new episode or season is available. Thank you.
