One of the PCs work perfectly with the NextPVR add-on and can watch live TV without issue. On the 2nd PC, the NextPVR add-on refuses to load. I have uninstalled/deleted all references to Kodi on this 2nd PC and reinstalled a fresh copy of Beta 3 and same result. NextPVR just bombs out.

Do you have NextPVR installed on that second PC too, or are you wanting to use the working NextPVR on that first PC?

You local show you have the NextPVR addon configured to connect to NextPVR on the same PC. I'm guessing that's not what you intended, and you need to go into the addon settings and set the hostname setting to the name or IP address of the machine that is running NextPVR.

If you had intended to have NextPVR also running on that machine (which seems pointless if you've already got another machine with NextPVR), then post the NextPVR logs and I'll take a look.

DUH........... that was the problem. I could have SWORN I pointed the NextPVR add-on to the "server" PC that is running the NextPVR software but I did not. Once I supplied that IP address, it started working perfectly.

The little things. Smile

Great - glad that got it sorted.

Hi there
OK. I did what you suggested, restarted recording service and it worked! Until today... My USB twin tuner failed.
Unplugged it and put it in again. Checked NPVR and it was working fine. Launched Kodi and same error back again. I rechecked the tick box, restarted the service, but this time didn't work. I just installed NPVR v.3.8.3 to see if that would work, but no.

Thank you!

Just to update: I ended up uninstalling via Windows 10 apps section. Then re-installed. It then worked.
