missing movie ive watched

ok really new at this. i have been scouring this system for weeks. i had absolutely no instructions when i got it.

ok question, i watched a movie didnt finish it and now i cant find it ANYWHERE. this has happened to quite a few movies i started. ive done people search, ive done search, ive done search by year, just about everything i know.

i did see about an add on for 'missing movie scan" i finally found it in add ons but now after installed it, i cant find where it is, again i tried looking everywhere i know. i am pulling my hair out.

thanks in advance

If the movies are in your library, maybe you have hide watched movies checked. I can't remember the percentage but even if the movie isn't fully watched it could still appear that way.
To check, whilst in library, scroll left to bring up the side bar and make sure hide watched is not checked.

One must assume thay you are using banned addons (wiki) as Kodi does not come with addons that supply Free content (wiki), I suggest you read the forum rules (wiki) before committing yourself further.

The OP didn't say anything about using addons to play movies. As far as we know his movies are stored locally on his computer and he is referring to the kodi library.

You think! Huh

First clue: I have been scouring this system for weeks. I had absolutely no instructions when I got it. (so not a computer)

Second clue: I watched a movie, didn't finish it and now i cant find it ANYWHERE. this has happened to quite a few movies i started. (so not a film he owns)
