Default activate embedded mkv subtitles
#1
I'm having trouble trying to get Kodi to show mkv embedded subtitles by default. If I'm playing an mkv file with subtitles, I have to activate it manually. I tried the "Set as default for all media" option in the video settings, but it doesn't stick. And I don't have any problems if the subtitles are in an external file.

I'm using Jarvis 16 on Windows if that's relevant.

Thanks!

If nobody has a solution could you tell me at least if anyone else is having this problem?

Should I submit a bug report or is there something wrong with my Kodi install?

I am not having this problem. I am not sure if Mkv Toolnix can help you, https://mkvtoolnix.download

If you have the mkv file & the srt file this can embed the subs in the movie, so you don't need to turn on subtitles.
