Descriptive audio for the visually impaired
#1
Under Settings > Videos > Accessibility I found a checkbox for "Prefer audio stream for the visually impaired".

Through what mechanism does Kodi determine if a secondary audio track qualifies for this? I want to know if I can specifically author videos with a descriptive audio track. I am specifically interested in mkv and ts (Broadcast ATSC, MPEG2)

I don't know the answer for sure, however from search I found this is the PR which added it https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/4087 which includes the addition of https://github.com/ace20022/xbmc/blob/d5...#L142-L143

That would suggest to me there's a container flag for mkv's etc that can be set with the appropriate software.
