I use the naming scheme according to the wiki for a split Episode:

tvshow_xyz.s01e01.1.

tvshow_xyz.s01e01.2.

Kodi should only display one single Entry for Episode 01 but in fact it displays two Entrys... idea

Try tvshow_xyz.s01e01.part1

Split episode naming only allows two videos to share a single episode's data. It's not file stacking (wiki), which allows two parts to look like a single video file. File stacking was never implemented for TV show episodes.

Each part will be added to the library just with its full episode number, the sub-part will not be displayed.
