Just to confirm, on confluence, you went to Video on main screen, then add source, browse to hard drive, ie media or usb ? give it a name, movies, then select source content, ie movies, click ok, then it asks you if you want to scan.
You then see the bar scanning, go back to the main menu, select movies & you should see the movies already scanned. 1800 movies will take an hour or more.
