I'm new to this so please bare with me. My dad has given me his old kodi box, he had this set up in his home without any problems, I however have had nothing but! Basically, most of the time the sound is out of sync with the picture, I've tried the audio offset and that doesn't seem to make any difference. There are times when it works fine but these times are rare. Can anyone help by advising me what I can do about this and where to look for fixes? any help would be greatly appreciated, as I said I am new to this so please be sure to dumb down for me ☺️

Few things. What system are you using? Where are your videos stored? What version of Kodi are you using? You need to provide any info possible to get help. Saying audio is out of sync means nothing without supporting details. A debug log would be great as well. Go to the wiki and search log. You can then find instructions on how to produce and upload a log.
