Hello,

I have a large list of videos (Films and personal videos) stored in a centralized server and I share to my 4 Kodi devices by NFS.

Is there any way to add films information and covers to the centralized storage? Without do it in each client?

Emby server or Plex server, + the Emby or Plex add-ons to import the data into Kodi, are the best way to do this, IMO. Kodi is the client in this setup.

I am looking for open source software. Both (Emby and Plex) are not open source.

For music I use Ampache, it really works great. I am looking for something similar.

I will search for more software.

Emby is open source. Emby for kodi is open source. Where did you see otherwise?
