sorry if this has been discussed but I've not figured out a combination of search terms that lands me an answer.
Is there a way to have Kodi show all the episodes I have in order of their air date?
thanks!

All of my TV shows are scraped by the TVDB and by default they are listed in air date order.
Matrix 19.x (LE), Aeon Nox SiLVO, NUC8i5BEK (i5-8259U, Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655, 16 GB ram, 128 GB M.2 SSD)
Samsung F6300 46" LED LCD TV, SMSL Q5 Pro amplifier, Pioneer HPM-100 speakers
Synology DS215j NAS fileserver (WD Gold 10TB x 2)

right, but you have to go into the "folder" for that show, what I'm looking for is something that lists the shows more like a DVR does where it's all shows by date.

I think what you are looking for is a smart playlist. I have never used them but I think that is where you need to look for this ability.
