Does anyone have the experience of turning on subtitle with iPlayer WWW add-on?
#1
I have tried many many times, but failed.

I have installed "AutoSub" service, and
turned on "Use subtitles when available"
at iPlayer WWW's General setting.

Whether I play live news or Planet Earth,
Kodi 16 reports "local subtitle available",
yet it does not show the subtitle, and
I could not locate where the subtitle is.

Thank you.

Instead of creating your own thread that might not be seen by many don't you think it would be beneficial to read the long running support thread for iPlayer WWW to see if the answer is there and if not ask your question in the thread?

Subtitles don't work at all with iPlayer www live TV streams, However they do normally work well with the catch-up, if you ensure subtitles are enabled in iPlayer www settings. (which you say you have in first post)
Assume your using a standard kodi skin i.e. confluence?
RPi4, (LibreELEC 11.0) hdmi0 -> Philips 55PUS7304 4K TV, hdmi1 -> Onkyo TX-SR608 AV Receiver
