Someone worked? The bug was closed and the PR is https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.iptvsimple/pull/144

Can this be merged in next nighly?

Simple IPTV is working as expected, in this release with epg too.

Does someone here know, why when using libreelec leia testbuilds the picture grabbed by my usb video grabber (V4L2 sent to /dev/video0, for Hyperion) is *extreme* dark?
I hope this question is not too special, but this is definately testbuild and/or kodi 18 related, because I have this behaviour only with fresh installed libreelec testbuilds plus Hyperion and not with fresh installed latest stable official libreelec release plus Hyperion.

Of course I asked in the Hyperion forums as well, but from my experience this thread here is much more frequently answered. Smile

If you are hitting temperature throttling then you are going to be better off reducing overclock.
Stock arm_freq=1200 is faster than throttled arm_freq=1350 (which will actually be 600MHz).

The main contributor to heat is over_voltage. Try edging that down.
Next is arm_freq. Back that off a bit.
v3d_freq/core_freq will have less effect.
Leave sdram_freq on highest that works - that has a good effect on software decode performance and won't affect temperature noticeably.

Hi, I haven't kept up with all the updates lately... (#0105, 05-Jan-2017 too be honest.)

Today I tried to jump to the latest build and while playing a movie and press pause/stop or in any kind of way bring the video menu I get a black screen. I hear click sounds when navigating but still no picture. Oh well there is some kind of blurry thing on the screen but I can't explain it better Tongue

Is there anything obvious I'm missing here? I mean do I need to modify anything else to get things going again?

This happens on a clean kodi install as well.

If you need logs, I can fix that later this evening but I guess it's only me doing something wrong here. I tried to find anything that related to my issue in the thread but I found nothing.

@Patrics83 a debug log and by the sounds of it a photograph of what you are seeing (the blurry thing) might be the best way forward. Make sure you've tested with stock Estuary.

I now have mounted a 40 mm brushless 12 v fan on GND and 5V+ pins and this makes a huge difference while playing h265 content, while barely hearable (with sound completely muted).
Before this little addition the temperatures ranged between 75 and 85 °C at 23 °C room temperature.
Now it is between 54 °C and 60 °C at same room temperature and same test file.
If I had expected such an enormous difference, I would have soldered the jumpers to this old fan's cables much earlier Smile

And now when I see it, it looks like an arrow.
The first picture is from when pressing stop button, and the second picture is from when pressing back button. The expected view would then be a folder with 6 different movies

This is with #0806 and /storage/.kodi renamed to /storage/.kodi.bak to simultate a "clean install".

On my RPi3 Netflix is stopping after 2 minutes. Do I need a hardware decoder license (mpeg2 or VC1) from raspberrypi.org/products ?
