Everything surprisingly. No negative issues noted at #1230
[3x RPi3]#[ AV Receiver - Marantz NR1506 ]#[ TV Panasonic TX-50EXW784 ]#[ NAS - OMV 4.1.xx (Arrakis) @ NanoPI M4 ]#[ Nextcloud 17.0.3 @ ODROID C2 ]
i noticed a slight problem on lan.
while I´m looking live tv over network and copy something to the pi the stream stutters.
and I have sometimes problems on connecting trough ssh over Terminal or Textwrangler while Cyberduck connect without Problems.

Yes, this fixes the crash, thanks
Maybe thats the same issue some of us see when watching livetv with USB TV cards. Here the issues also increase when copying files to le samba shares during watching.
This issue started with kernel 4.9 and isn't solved until a year now.
Hi Milhouse,

Seems to be something a bit dodgy with the running time when watching live tv, the current watched time is jumping up in huge increments.
seems fine watching everything else, just live tv.

Please see pic, #1228 is the first build to have this problem....

Happy New Year....

Which PVR add-on are you using?
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.

Which skin? Does it also misbehave with the default skin Estuary?

This issue started with kernel 4.9 and isn't solved until a year now.
and the 4.9 Kernel isn't in LibreELEC 8?
Shame on this Kernel.
Until now the Builds from Milhouse are stable but I recognize a few lags. Hope I´ll fix.
Back to LibreELEC 8 is not an option Milhouse made a patch just for me in 127 of LE9.

The RPi builds of LE8 are based on 4.9.y

This really needs someone with the affected hardware and ability to self build to bisect the kernel.

I did some testing and it seems that if I chose to have a login screen at boot up CEC wont work, but if I enable the option to "auto login" CEC will work. I enabled debug log but it does not seem to be activated until i login to a profile so there was not much information in it, is there a way to enable "global" debugging
Thank you ZefQ; CEC remote has not worked for me since changing to these test builds (at #1016), from LE 8.1.1.
By enabling "auto login", (not having a login screen at boot), CEC now works.
I had not thought of trying that but now the remote works, 'Kodi' appears in
tv's input selection menu with the 'Pulse-Eight CEC adapter' message being posted
on screen at start.
I had been living with a bluetooth keyboard and BT mouse as the only input, the remote
will be much more usable.

@BergDweller or @ZefQ: Please open a ticket on trac.kodi.tv for this issue.
