I note you don't have "hdmi_ignore_cec_init=1" in config.txt which is a default option for LibreELEC.
Any reason why that has been removed? Does adding it back help?

It seems to be trying to play the file /storage/.kodi/addons/plugin.video.amazon/resources/dummy.avi
Can you check if that is present after the crash?
Does it also crash if you copy that file and try to play it through videos menu?

What does mediainfo report for that file?

OT post - you should start a thread on the LibreELEC.tv forum where there will be someone familiar with imx6 able to help.

Thank. Will do, I just hoped you might know from your own compiling how I can exclude the dvbhdhomerun driver?

It doesn't crash for me, nor do you see any video.

At 10K you are not going to have video in there - I guess it's some sort of placeholder when the Amazon stream can't be played.
dummy.avi doesn't show any frames with vlc or mplayer either.

Thanks! I'll try that tonight. The reason that option isn't set is because my config.txt is actually from the Milhouse builds of OpenELEC and I'm guessing it was commented out by default in OpenELEC Smile

It was a default in OpenELEC for quite some time. Maybe it was a very old OE that had been upgraded.

Since the Kodi 18 updates I have problems moving large files via network onto Pi3 attached hard drive.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Amazon Prime comes closer to working on this build. I can get audio but no video. No crashes.

Understand, but what explains the crashes?

EDIT: Just now I tried to play the video again, Kodi does not crash anymore hmm..

@popcornmix

Looks like one of those 2 settings may cause random crashes with Live TV:
Resample quality = GPU accelerated
Threshold for pitch correction = 2 (Not sure about this one. Pitch correction kicks in right after the channel change but that's not when the crashes occur.)

I ran Kodi with Resample quality = Low, Threshold for pitch correction = 100 for a couple of months without a single crash.
Then I decided to switch those settings back to default. Today I got Kodi crash/restart when watching Live TV: http://sprunge.us/ViXh
