Yes, that should work(*). Technically you only need to overwrite the files that already exist, so just bootcode.bin, start.elf and fixup.dat are enough but what you've done is good enough.
Report "vcgencmd version" after rebooting and I can confirm firmware has updated correctly.

(*) This assumes a direct LibreELEC build. This won't work with NOOBS.

Yes, that's what I have been doing. To do the overwrite you need to execute: mount /flash -o remount,rw

WinSCP works very well for this.

Oh, the main reason for my post Build 0201 show no improvement in the on-going CEC issue so I loaded the Revert13 firmware.

0201 didnt fix my CECproblems either.
