There's only 1 log, kodi.log, but it sounds like "debug logging" is disabled so you're only seeing INFO, WARNING and ERROR lines. You can enable debug logging from settings (see http://kodi.wiki/view/Debug_log )
Maybe fifa 97 is easier? Here no controller input seem to work with pocketsnes!
