v18 LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0)
Just to confirm that with build 0703 both Netflix and Amazon VoD from Sandmann79 work perfectly. Just a quick heads up the inputstream addon defaults to 480p for protected content which caused stuttering on a 1080/24p video from Amazon, once changed to 720p all was right again.

We've still not seen the debug log (wiki).
Make sure you have inputstream.adaptive set to 720p (it is decoded in software so 1080p won't work).
720p is good on a Pi3 - I'm not sure if Pi2 can handle it (Pi1 certainly won't).

I really don't know why you're doing any of that, and what you've done is wrong, so for anyone else that wants a widevine fresh start just remove the entire /storage/.kodi/cdm folder and use the curl command exactly as posted in note #6 of the first post. It's best not to make stuff up.
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.

so there is no chance to get 1080p working on Pi3?

I can also confirm that Amazon VOD and Netflix both work with build 703

That is out of our hands really.
libwidevine contains a software decoder (as well as decryption) and is closed source so isn't something we can optimise.
It doesn't appear to use multiple cores as well as ffmpeg (normally two cores seem relatively idle).

Overclocking may help, but I don't expect you will get far enough for 1080p software decode.

It only shows the .rar-file and when it opens only the sound starts.

Will it be available in one furter releases?

I was under the impression 720p was the default value? as i haven't changed it.

as for the log, i just didn't get around to it but it's not needed now, it's on rpi3, i'll re-visit the netflix plugin in the future, as of now it's just not functioning to the degree that would make me abandon it from the browser or app version.

Thanks for the help regardless!

well i had done it before reading the first post, but naturally both do the same thing as there is only 2 files present, i doubt made up scripts function very well.

beyond that, i tried both ways and result was the same.

It will be available from the LibreELEC 9.0 Repository which will be updated once the addon API stops changing every week (this assumes vfs.rar is updated to work with Kodi 18, as it doesn't compile right now, which is the main reason for dropping it).

If you must have RAR support my advice would be to go back to Kodi 17 (or continue using the last Kodi 18 build that included vfs.rar).

It's a similar story with inputstream.rtmp, which also doesn't build right now (same addon author, maybe he's on holiday). I may reintroduce this addon if/when it is updated but if you need it then use the last Kodi 18 build with inputstream.rtmp, or go back to Kodi 17.

It doesn't look like the Amazon65 addon is compatible with the Settings Library changes - you'll need to contact the addon author.

Weekly Linux 4.12.0 build #0704x: RPi / RPi2

This is based on the released 4.12.0 kernel. Unfortunately we have an issue building Generic with 4.12.y (lack of suitable nvidia-legacy driver) which is delaying the cut over from 4.11.y to 4.12.y.
