That's weird, and not really expected, as #0909 has no changes that should affect Kodi - the samba change is simply a validation of a config file you probably don't have, and the fpic changes affect only x86_64.

So the #0909 build is basically a clean build of #0908.

The tvheadend addon itself hasn't had any new code changes since 1 September.

Are you absolutely sure the problem starts with #0909?

I'm sure #0908 is the last working build for me. Will try today #0912 and report back.
No improvement with build #0912.
Anyone getting a pop sound after resuming playback from a paused stated? Started a few builds ago, haven’t isolated the version yet but it is very recent.

Could you identify the last working build for you?
For me #0908 is good and #0909 is bad.

Last working build without audio issue is 0907 for me. With 0908 audio starts to begin async. 0912 has also the probs.
(2017-09-11, 07:59)ksooo Wrote: The crash is due to a corrupted tv database. We know this bug and it's pretty old, but no dev was able to reproduce so far and to come up with a fix, unfortunately.

There is no step by step instructions how to reproduce. That's a real problem.

The crash is not related to tvheadend, btw. Users using other pvr backends are also experiencing it.

Okay. Thanks.

I don't know if uploading the crashlog from a debug build will help or not, but here's one.
http://sprunge.us/ZQRf

This crashlog seems to have been generated at or near the same time I was using WinSCP to look to see if a crashlog existed. I was not able to stfp or ssh into the Pi. The Pi had also frozen on the home screen and I had to yank the power plug out to get it going again.

Strangely, this crashlog does not contain any of the viewing I did last night. I had watched a TV show I previously recorded, then a video from "TV Shows", then some Live TV. It's not in kodi.log.old either as that was overwritten on reboot.

I have a second Pi also running the debug build provided by Milhouse. It hasn't been used yet and it is still running fine. Here's it's kodi.log:
http://sprunge.us/CcAK

Hope this helps.

Would be useful if you could confirm if problem started with #0909 or #0910.
Build #0909 is also bad for me. Last working build is #0908. So downgrading.

This is debug log from working build #0908

I found issues with Kodi crashing or freezing during inpupstream playback. This sporadically happens when the stream buffers and I press stop:

Here is a crash (reboot): https://pastebin.com/qFuUabKS
and here is a freeze (time keeps saying 21:55, but even after 20 minutes no update of the screen). I sshed and rebooted: *edit: i failed to upload it to pastebin .. log has about 10 Mb - any other suggestions for uploading other than pastebin? PN / email?

I use build #911 but I am not sure when this started (going back to #907 and #909 I had the same behaviour). Issue happened during watching episode 4 of jessica jones on netflix.

The channel switching is weird in the last 2 or 3 builds (after the channel switch the GUI shows up for a second).
If I set pll adjustment to off, audio and video are in sync again with latest build.

Please be specific if you want issues fixed. Which build was the first with the issue?

Ive noticed with latest build, that switching channels stops playback, same with watching recordings and if you try to switch to another recording, playback also stops.
No crashing..

Regards bucky..

Edit: tried to get logs from a fresh install but couldnt recreate problem, so I guess its something ive done with my main installation, addon or something..

Edit Again: OK i managed to recreate the problem of playback stopping when switching pvr channels or recordings, only does it with omx player..
I've upped some logs of me switching channels, maybe of use....

Again, can you be specific? Are you saying problem affects #0913 and doesn't affect #0912?

Kind regards

During a switch from one TV channel to another there is a 1-second flash of Kodi's GUI instead of a usual black screen. The first build with the issue is #0912.

Also, any changes to "Audio and subtitle settings" and "Video settings" are not saving. Not sure about the exact build but this started about a month, maybe 1,5 months ago.
Next build should contain another round of channel switch changes. Would be nice to get some feedback.
