This is an old issue still present in Kodi 17 https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid2667390 and now fixed for Kodi 18 https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/13031 but doesn't seem to work on Pi3 and/or is not available on the build I'm using LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-9.0-Milhouse-20180213230411-#0213-g3e167d2.tar.

How can I check the PR is included and if not the right place to report this issue, what is it.

Thank you
(2018-02-04, 03:31)smp1 Wrote: Sample 1 (DVD): black screen instead of DVD menu. Used to work with older builds.
Sample 2 (BD): menu works but when you start the movie there is only a black screen with audio. It works only if the movie is started from "Select playback item". There were no issues with older builds (pre-0127 I believe).

This must be something RPi-specific, there are no such issues with current Kodi-master on a PC.
Those samples also work when mmal is disabled and omxplayer is enabled.

For all I know you might have installed LibreELEC 8.2.2 on January 18. No offence, but it isn't very helpful if you can't tell me what version last worked. That's why builds are uploaded daily, so you can determine when something last worked, when it stopped working, and then we have a fighting chance of determining what it is that changed between those two builds. I don't use VNC, so I won't be spending any time looking into this.

Isn't 17-Feb-2018 ? @Milhouse

No, I use the kernel date (which is rebuilt every night) to determine the announcement date - in the case of #0217 the build was delayed until after midnight, hence using 18 Feb as the "announce" date for #0217:
Code:
Linux rpi512 4.14.18 #1 Sun Feb 18 01:11:36 GMT 2018 armv6l GNU/Linux
The build normally starts at 9pm (UK) with the kernel building about 10-15 minutes later if all goes well (which it normally does) so typically the announcement date is the same as the build code, but when the build is delayed long enough for the kernel to be built after midnight then the announcement date will be different from the build code.

Hi milhouse ;-)

paplayer (vp): fix out-of-bounds error in audiocodec passthrough (fix DTS crash?)

well, tested with 3dts album - works now very well (for me) with hifiberry digi - have no reboot now. Bravo!

the next point please - ALSA_snd_rpi_hifiberry_digi_S/PDIF in AudioDecoder/Audio output Device (change back to HDMI after a new start)
HDMI is not working perfekt with passtrough to my new SonyKD-55xe90. (?) but this is now the job of hifiberry.

Thank You very much for your hard work.

Harald
After turning off in TVHeadend Client the predicted channel switch I have no audio problems anymore.
Hi,

3D playback is messed up at the moment. Well, since #0212.
Kodi.log in reference to my post https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid2703463
Looks like a variable is not set/cleared properly and keeps the stereo mode of the last played 3D movie.
For MMAL HW accel., MVC, HTAB and HSBS are displayed correctly.
For OMX the problem above (kodi switching to 3D for a 2D movie) doesn't occur.  HSBS and HTAB are messed up (unwatchable) but MVC works.
