v18 LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0)
"Long press" is not functioning with 0302 (0301 works properly). Instead of bringing up my context menu, it just plays the selected video. I'm not a developer, but I'd bet it has something do to with the changes to libinput and libxkbcommon.
I updated to the latest version today (the previous one was a couple weeks old). If I now hold the up- or down-arrow, it skips through the menus too fast. Maybe two times the speed it did before. I'm using a Logitech Harmony remote and a FLIRC receiver.

 No debug log?

it shouldn't be any faster than a keyboard, as default repeat is 80ms and default delay is 400ms

Yes. Sorry. A hungry 8 year old and a leaky roof (sigh) took priority.

I long pressed on Cars 3. It played instead of showing the context menu. I pressed stop. I then long pressed on A Ghost Story and it played too.

FYI, I'm using a FLIRC.

i use the Version from Yesterday build #0227.

Are you using the latest tvheadend addon: http://milhouse.libreelec.tv/builds/addo...headend42/ ?

When did it last work, which build, which tvheadend42? If you've just started using these builds then without knowing when something last worked it's more work to find out why it's broken.
I didn't know that a page with nightly build for TVH was exist, with these builds the grab file work and the EPG is working like a charm !!
thank you very much Smile

FYI, I'm using a FLIRC.

I think this is a result of a combination of things. The reason I say that is because the old code didn't have any explicit support for long press keys. I think there is something with the timing.

I see in the logs that it is setting a default delay of 500ms and default repeat of 33ms.

So as far as I understand the flirc requires 500ms to decide if it will send a long press.

I will have to setup my flirc and give it a test.

Edit: on second thought what is the key that you have it assigned to? Perhaps I'm just missing that key in the handling code

I'm pressing OK (mapped to Enter) on the remote.
I can confirm longpress keys are not working.
this is true for all long presses, using Bluetooth keyboard or a Flirc.
#0302 build and #0303 build are bad for using mouse.

After using mouse wheel on bookmark scrolling,
mouse movement action is adding mouse wheel action and it affect every controls in kodi.

Maybe this is also related to my FLIRC issue with scrolling too quickly through menu entries ?
#0303 and Kodi Crash occured after watching .ts file stored on NAS and stopping playback.
(using rpi2 all afternoon after update to #0303, streaming a number of programmes, before watching .ts file and stopping playback via CEC remote)

@MikeKL thanks a similar crash has been reported in the Generic (x86) test thread, it's occurring while updating the Video database, and apparently started with #0301 (no crash with #0228) but not obvious (to me at least) what the cause might be.

I went back to a previous version (February 28), long press-scrolling through lists is working fine there.
