Hi

Testet Build 18.04 and found solution for my problemImage (Problem Builds 15.04/16.04), desactivating hardware acceleration (both OMX and MMAL), and it's just superbImage. TV (PVR Clients) and (Video) from internet sources are streaming again perfect.

Thanks

Hi,

I found switching omx off and mmal on sorted the stuttering, but then im stuck with the old ActiveAE - large audio sync errors which is also unwatchable.
#0407 and only omx enable is the best option for me at the moment.

Kind Regards

Bucky

 When I press Pause or Info (VideoPlay) with my remote control I will not see the file name in the upper left corner anymore. Is that so wanted now?

I can confirm this behaviour - same with Generic (x86_64). Started with #0415.

Does this still occur with #0417?

 I am using rpi2 with small overclock. It's good for some 1080p 60 live streaming.

h264_freq=400
h264_freq_min=330

Does anyone have a way of reproducing the ActiveAE audio sync errors?
E.g. playback from a local file, rather than needing live TV or other external components.

I can't test CEC, can you confirm it is enabled?

Check your network. Reboot. If the problem persists, upload a debug log - there are no known server issues at this time and the list of available updates is available.

no output on #0416 on command ir-keytable -t

hope this helps
Thanks, this helps! Most important info was that you are using an mceusb receiver (and the ir-ctl output should help as well).

I've dropped the mceusb commit from the PR so build #0417 should be fine again. Please test it and report back.

Please watch out for (and test) tonight's build, we'll be adding a fix from the kernel IR maintainer for the mceusb issues. If it works latency should be improved with your IR receiver as well.

so long,

Hias

 Can you be a little more descriptive? I've tested the mouse and don't really see any issues (apart from using a mouse in a keyboard/remote environment Big Grin).

I use mmal. I don't have any issue with stalls, stutters, glitches on the audio or video.
I watch mostly hevc and h264 tv shows, with some live TV recordings (MPEG-2).
I'd like to know what the difference is between our setups (and how to reproduce it here).

Possibly there is something different in the encoding of your files. Possibly something in the kodi settings.

Do you have the issue with completely default settings (you can rename .kodi to .kodi_back and reboot to test this)?
