v18 -  LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0)
Hello,

I upgraded to build 511 from 8.2.5, it's a good job, the HEVC 10bits video files work very well. But there is a small problem does not work the refresh rate in the video files or in the pvr client.

Someone else?.

Best regards and thanks.

Also keep "Adjust display to refresh rate" enabled, although this setting will be removed eventually.

@Milhouse i have 510 installed. I switched trough my livetv channels and I recognize a bad audio video sync error. also in my log I had a lot of messages like this
12:50:11.842 T:1918100336 WARNING: ActiveAE - large audio sync error: -1099.270824then I uploaded the 511 update and while it uploads the audio stutters badly but after uploading the sync was perfect again. But after about 5 minutes it goes out of sync again.

maybe it helped.
I use tvheadend on an pi3 and stream the channels over network to my pi3b+ u to use 2 inputs and predicted channel switching. I use a hifiberry the audio is mp2 stereo

Dear team,

first of all thank you for your great work. I can can verify that kodi's UI in build #0513 is more responsive and the Amazon VOD streaming issue are gone (streaming without lags or any other stuttering now - great!).

The only thing I notice is that I can't update my Amazon DB (Addon "Amazon", without VOD).

There aren't any "can't update"-messages so far (so no current python issues) - instead the UI is freezing completely after clicking on "Update DB". The weird thing about is: The system underneath is still responsing, via SSH shell or pressing num lock via keyboard. Just the UI is freezed.

I've uploaded the complete, whole debug log here (no pw needed):

https://privatebin.net/?f7babb7068bebbef...3eeXfh3uaw=

I hope you can verify the issue and fix it Smile.

Kind Regards,

G

New LibreELEC.tv Leia build #0513 - Still locks up on RPI

1. Froze when video ended.
2. Froze when navigating menu.

I will put logging on and try and capture, but it is random in nature.

Otherwise it plays back with no stutter

Everyone experiencing kodi freezing/hanging in #0513: when kodi hangs can you do two things:

1) Run vcgencmd measure_clock arm and print the result
2) Run kill -SIGSEGV $(pidof kodi.bin) and, assuming kodi restarts, upload the crash log.

Thanks!

@tjost thanks, is your Kodi freezing, what did you do to make it freeze?

Your skin has a number of errors that the skin maintainer should fix. The add-on search will be fixed tonight.

I played Music trough Partymodus going to next track it freeze and then restart.
I testet it also with the standard skin but the error stays the same.
I am the skin maintainer but I need help on this. Smile sadly.  And I got help and maybe the errors are fixed now.
And next button and also eject would be very nice. I do have the same stupid Queen DVD in my player for a month now.

I am not sure if this is the correct forum to post this or if it is just my settings causing the issue. This has been happening for all Kodi 18.0 builds

When I Reboot Kodi CEC no longer works with Kodi until I change the TV to another source and back to Kodi.

When the TV is set to the Kodi HDMI port during the reboot Pulse Eight reports it is connecting CEC

It then reports Pulse Eight CEC connected Kodi > TV > Amp which is correct however CEC remote does not work for Kodi

During the boot process the TV shows the CEC negotiation symbol as expected. During the boot if the amp is set to another input the TV will set the input to the Kodi HDMI, however CEC does not work for Kodi until I change to another TV source and then back to Kodi

In the CEC settings I do not normally have Kodi set to switch to Kodi HDMI as Kodi is randomly rebooting and this setting will cause the TV and amp to turn on in the middle of the night when Kodi reboots.

Below is the link to the Kodi logs

1. Kodi CEC setting “Switch Source to this device on startup ON” and reboot: CEC remote works for RPI3. During startup Kodi shows: Pulse Eight connecting CEC and then reports Pulse Eight CEC connected   Kodi > TV > Amp. Log http:/ix.1o/1al9

2. Kodi CEC setting “Switch Source to this device on startup OFF” and reboot: CEC remote does not work for RPI3. During startup Kodi shows: Pulse Eight connecting CEC and then reports Pulse Eight CEC connected   Kodi > TV > Amp. Log http:/ix.1o/1alb

3. After the TV source is changed away from Kodi and then back to Kodi (CEC remote works). Log http:/ix.1o/1alc
