v18 LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0)
(2018-06-09, 06:14)3DBuff Wrote: Correct. I was really puzzled when it pupped up in build prior to #0601 and then it bacame permanent. The movies that don't scan get locked up even with roll back to prior builds that worked before. It's like the title is blacklisted but it works from other Kodi installs PC and Android box.

Can you go back to a build from a month or two ago, say #0401, delete (or rename) the MyVideos109.db, and then scan your library again - it would be interesting to see how "24 Hours to Live" is handled. If it's the same, as #0531, ie. it fails to retrieve any details, then chances are this is a website API/addon/scraper issue rather than anything to do with Kodi core.

OK, I'll try to do it today. The scan or don't scan is unpredictable in my case. Large multi-source scan seem to lock up the same titles every time with recent builds.
I had fresh #0606 with missing titles. Reversed back to #0531 and it created brand new database with all movies OK. I made a fresh chip with #0531 and it didn't scan all (the last case). I can't find a pattern to it.
My projector setup had #0407. I updated the movie database first, all OK. Updated to #0604 I think it was and it all looked OK at the beginning. The movies in the database were scanned with previous version of Kodi but any change to existing movie like a letter at the end of filename would remove it out database and lock it up for any future scans. Reversing the filename change would call up old database reference and movie would show up again.

I'ts definitely not the issue with #0602 database update.
Maybe it is a website API/addon/scraper issue but why just me? Wink
As requested I renamed MyVideos109.db to MyVideos109#0531.db, disabled any Settings media customization like "Extract video information from files", "Show movie sets" etc. Reversed update to #0501 and let it scan. Renaming database file removed source content to "none". This had to be manually put back to movies and others.

Scan completed, movies are missing Sad Of course "24 Hours to Live" is one of the missing titles.

Next step. I will repeat this with #0401.

If it is scraper or TMDB than why nobody else is complaining? I don't see any threads at Metadata Scrapers complaining about missing titles from the scan.
Movie Database - missing titles out of the scan.

After hours and hours and more hours I got to the bottom of the issue. It was me Wink

Renaming database file and deleting it all the way to official Kodi 17 8.2.5 was not helping. Certain movies would not scan.
Wiped SD and fresh Kodi 17, didn't adjust anything and added one source. All OK.
Updated to latest #0608 and tested by renaming one of the file. All good.
Went ahead and made some customization, time zone, couple of plugins and adjusted media settings.
Back to source and changed filename. No scan! Reversed steps few at the time and bingo.

Settings > Media > Videos > Use video tags
That's the one. Don't use video tags Wink That's why it was asking TMDB for the wrong thing. Well, I had nothing else to do today anyway Wink
@Milhouse: Was it possible for you to reproduce my issues? Is there anything I can do fixing it?

Glad you got to the bottom of it! Smile

Which issue(s) are still an issue?

1) The keyboard layout? Question: What keyboard layout are you configuring?
2) Zattoo - sorry can't help, contact the addon maintainer via github
3) Amazon - is this still an issue? Working fine for me but I use plugin.video.prime_instant. Probably best to contact your Amazon addon maintainer if it's not working.

Is there still problems with search function or is it fixed? Does LE freeze/crash if use search?

Search local library
Search add-ons

Both working for me. No freeze, no crash.

Hi.

From build #0404, my TV is no more switching, to the movie souce framerate.
Ex. if I playback a BR iso in 24fps, the TV is in 60Hz ?

The build #0403 is working fine.

RPi3 using OMXplayback only and "Adjust display refresh rate = Always"

Best regards

Have you got the frame rate whitelist set up correctly?

There is a new setting now that let's you specify for which refresh rates you would like the switches to happen. Like when your UI is running at 60Hz and you are playing a 30fps video, you might not necessarily want to do a switch etc. You can find this setting in Settings -> System - > Display -> "Whitelist"
