v18 LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0)
(2018-07-27, 17:35)CaelThunderwing Wrote: just setup a fresh image for my Zero W (was going to make a lil Kitchen system for Music while cooking, bring up youtube etc. ) and the latest Build 0726 was installed, (copie dto Update folder) and its connected over Wifi.

it's failing to download plugins or dependencies from the official repo.

Log: http://ix.io/1iwI
(using a slightly overkill Power supply for a Zero, 3A USB power ment for a Pi3)

(it got resolved by booting into windows vs OSX on the MacMini i used,   any idea in the log what happened other than likely just a corrupted install?)

These are Kodi mirror problems which seem to affect a small number of users from time to time. There's not much LibreELEC can do about that, to be honest.

Are such errors while logging in with an plugin caused by the plugin or by LibreELEC or Kodi:

Code:
ERROR: /storage/.kodi/addons/script.module.urllib3/lib/urllib3/connectionpool.py:858: InsecureRequestWarning: Unverified HTTPS request is being made. Adding certificate verification is strongly advised. See: https://urllib3.readthedocs.io/en/latest...l-warnings

Thanks in advance!
Plugin. These LibreELEC builds don't include urllib3 - that's a module installed by the add-on system and is the source of the warning. The plugin should be fixed.

Yes. Make sure you've enabled "Enable Full HD HDMI modes for stereoscopic 3D" and "Adjust display refresh rate to match video".

Thanks.

Yep, I'm aware of the right settings, it happens that at some point 3D stopped working on previous builds, so I kind of gave up since I had to run early 17 builds.

Pi is back in the 3D business then, glad to hear that, I will give it a try tonight.

Same issue as with previous kernel 4.18 builds. VDR/VNSI does not seem to function (not a DVB Driver Addons issue - I don't use those).
Hi,
after upgrading to #729 on my pi3b this morning i am stuck in a boot loop.
The blue animated logo keeps reappearing infinite.

What can i do to bring it back to live without loosing my settings?

btw: Downgrading to #728 did not change anything.

Regards
Chris

I'm not psychic, so I can't help without a crashlog.

If you leave it to crash 5 times in a row, does it start in Safe Mode so that you can upload the crashlog from within Kodi? If not, and assuming you have ssh enabled you should be able to login and upload the latest crashlog. Or upload the latest zipfile from the Samba Logfiles share.

If this crashing started out of the blue and downgrading to a known good version isn't working then it's either file system corruption (or SD failure), or a third-party add-on has updated which is now crashing Kodi (although broken add-ons shouldn't have any affect on Safe Mode, so you should at least be able to make it into Safe Mode in order to diagnose the problem etc.).

Hi milhouse,

thank you very much for guiding me in the right direction.

Crashlog uploaded: http://ix.io/1iO9

Savemode started after renaming the userdata folder to userdata.old.
Several autom. restarts (>15) did not trigger savemode before.
