Oh crap - cut & paste error.

Edit: Thanks - posts updated (I'd pasted the RPi/RPi2 release into the Generic thread, and vice versa!)

Whew :-}
Hi Milhouse,
I've just come across a problem with HEVC on my Slice, which I've updated to Kodi 18.0-BETA2 (8.90.005). I'm getting green and purple blocks on the right side of the screen on dark images with a reasonably highly compressed file.
Photos of the problem here. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/nht0h53eqdsz8...8Uwba?dl=0
I tested the same video file on my Pi3 using 20180730 #0730, that does not show the fault. I updated to latest 20180918 #0918, which does.
I'm reporting it here in case someone knows what the problem is, otherwise I'll try finding the version where it started.
That was easy, I just looked for the ffmpeg updates. ;-) It started in #0831
Regards, Kevin.

@garbear no luck.  Here is my log
  1. Used PS3 controller for all kodi navigation
  2. Launched Legend of Zelda, A Link to the Past and started a game
  3. Let controller go to sleep
  4. Hit PS3 button on controller and the player 1 light on the controller lit
  5. No control in game. Pressing circle took me to file navigation.
  6. Then choosing a movie give an error saying the file isn't compatible with any emulators

Can you provide a sample file that shows the issue? e.g. cut down to a one minute sample and check it still fails?

Is that ERROR: AddOnLog: InputStream Adaptive: Unable to load widevine shared library (/storage/.kodi/cdm/libwidevinecdm.so) message libreelec problem or addon problem? I dont have logs yet but i can give it later. Wondering if someone can tell it? Im not sure what version that problem started but worked fine earlier.

Netflix and Amazon both working for me with #0921, widevine loading without a problem, so presumably you don't have a compatible widevine - use the inputstream.helper to maintain your widevine installation.

tl;dr: not a LibreELEC issue.
