v18 LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0)
Propably an issue on my end because I skipped some updates.

I've been on #1020 and apart from the 3-5 seconds of silence when I seek or resume a video it was a good build. The youtube addon was also working as it should.

Then I updated to #1026. The silence when seeking or resuming is gone but now there's about 0,5-1 second where I only get a green image, then it's back to normal. (I guess it has something to do with the I-Frame stuff?).
And since the update, the youtube addon doesn't show me all videos of channels I subscribed to. Normal search in the youtube addon shows these missing videos but going to the channel via "sub -> channel name" they're not there.
Something changed with the data handling in kodi that confuses the addon? Should I report this to the addon author?

Anyways, thanks for your hard work Milhouse!
Green screen is probably due to the ffmpeg update.

Not sure about YouTube, can you identify the first build with this behaviour?

He says i need the latest libreelec alpha, my question is:  "LibreElec (Krypton) v7.90.010 Alpha" it will work for my purpose?
And the most important how can i download it? Here https://libreelec.tv/downloads/preview/ I dont see the link for download alpha version

No, "LibreElec (Krypton) v7.90.010 Alpha" will not work as that's a Krypton (Kodi 17) release of LibreELEC 8.0.

Netflix will only work with Leia (Kodi 18).

This thread includes LibreELEC 9/Kodi 18 test builds - just download the latest build by following the most recent "Release post" link in the first post.

I'll try but looking at all your changelogs I'd place my bet on #1024 with the updates to curl and others.

I don't know much about programming but that sounds as if it could break something like this youtube issue.

I'd also bet that if I boot my kodi up now it's working normal again, as usual *haha*
Small update on the youtube issue, I went back to #1020 and even further back and found that it's tje adson itself and not kodi. I'll contact the author for a fix.
@UrushibaraRuka phew! Smile

Hey all,

I'm new to libreElec but been using Kodi since the original xbox.

Everything's working great but my AVR keeps shutting off my HTPC, and I think it's due to HDMI CEC. However, I can't seem to find a setting to disable it.

Any one know how I can disable it? I'm on the 1026 build at the moment.

This is from the Raspbery Pi settings, but should be the same on x86 that has CEC support:

1. Settings > System > Input > Peripherals
Image

2. Click on "CEC Adapter"

3. Configure...

I just did some updates today and now Overlays like menu / playback seeker etc and subtitles flicker like mad

how ever I am unsure if this is related to Kodi 17.5 or my Ubuntu 17.04-17.10 update
as I had to reinstall kodi because their were missing links after the ubuntu upgrade

also unsure if this a wayland issue or not
redoing for wayland as it would have been x11

cmake .. -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr/local -DCORE_PLATFORM_NAME=wayland -DWAYLAND_RENDER_SYSTEM=gl

how do i add my audio settings when building ? i need to disable pulseaudio and enable alsa

cmake .. -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr/local -DCORE_PLATFORM_NAME=wayland -DWAYLAND_RENDER_SYSTEM=gl -DENABLE_PULSEAUDIO=OFF -DENABLE_ALSA=ON

Huh
@MasterCATZ I think you're in the wrong thread...
