v18 LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0)
(2017-01-31, 14:49)Nekromantik Wrote: What does this mean then: Drop HEVC 10-bit support - wait for merge to kodi master

If it might not get merged even in leila then is there a reason it was dropped from your custom builds?

I'm not sure where the confusion is.

It's been dropped because it hasn't been PR'd to Kodi master. If/when it is PRd and merged in Kodi master then it will be added back.

I know this code is changing outside of Kodi master, in an private branch, and rather than introduce regressions/issues due to stale/out of date code that conflicts with Kodi master I've dropped support. If you want/need HEVC 10-bit support then your best bet is probably a piotrasd build.

ok thanks
I hope it does get merged as people are saying they cant say that it will be added in official Kodi.
Just jumped from 17 to today's 18 build on my beebox, all good. Where is the skin settings page hidden now, I can't find the option?!

Hi guys,

just got my Beebox J3160 yesterday and Milhouse's Libreelec is already running fine on it.
My only problem is that audio and video are not sync. There is a small delay (audio a bit later than video).
Unfortunately I can only set a manual delay on my AVR but not that audio plays "earlier".

I'm using the same Kodi settings that I use with my Raspberry Pi 2 (also running Milhouse Libreelec) which are "adjust display refresh rate" and audio passthrough (all possible codecs).
It's working perfectly fine with the Raspberry Pi.
Any ideas?

My second question is directly to @Milhouse:

I also bought a Xiaomi Mi Box (which was a big mistake because android just sucks) and I got one thing working on the mi box which I cant get working on the Pi 2 or Beebox: Amazon Video on Demand.
I followed this step by step guide from wrxtasy: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=...pid2499949

To my understanding the "key ingredient" is the kodi-20170107-2cda76f-mediacodec-armeabi-v7a build with some changes from peak3d.
Would it be possible to somehow implement these changes in your testbuilds so we can enjoy Amazon? Smile

Sorry, should be back soon. Additional storage is being added, took a bit longer than planned (apologies for lack of notice) but almost there...

There is currently no longer support for Amazon video on Linux (ie. LibreELEC) after Amazon changed their encryption a few months ago. It might still be working on Android, as that platform already includes all libraries to make it work, but it's not currently working on Linux. @peak3d continues to work on this in the hope of finding a solution.

@Milhouse maybe is missed it, but did you do a 4.10 rc build this week?

EDIT: I am stupid...found it. Thanks! Smile

FYI for nvidia users - there may be an issue in the last build loading the nvidia drivers so might be best to avoid it until this issue is resolved.

Edit: Possibly a false alarm - I just upgraded my Revo 3700 (ION2) to #0202 and it failed to load the nvidia-legacy driver. Downgraded to #0201, all good. Upgraded again to #0202 and now it loaded the nvidia-legacy driver without any issue. Maybe a timing issue - please report any similar issues. Thanks.
