Hi Milhouse,

are there any news regarding the (dazn) ssl issue?
Hi milhouse

I've just updated this via devupdater but on reboot nothing happened system looks dead.

I was going to try and manually add the kernal/system file before posting this message but just needed to ask would it make any difference before I remove the drive.

Hard to say without knowing why the system is "dead". But so long as you don't have catastrophic file system corruption of /storage you should be able to resurrect the system by manually copying the boot files into the FAT partition.

Yes and no. We've investigated returning to openssl and that fixes the dazn issue, however there's currently a build issue with openssl on Generic which will need to be resolved before we can make the switch. There's been no progress identifying the issue when using libressl. I hope we can switch back to openssl eventually but that depends on the remaining build issue being resolved, and of course the team ageing that switching back to openssl is the right decision.

Hi folks,

had again 2 crashes in the VAAPI area on LiveTV channel switch, this time running #0222.
Yes, I'm running the tvheadend pvr plugin. ;-)

http://sprunge.us/SDDA
http://sprunge.us/MKBV

Anything else I should collect to nail this down?

Cheers,
Diddle

Are you able to reproduce this crash relatively easily?

I've uploaded a debug-enabled build #0301z: Generic

If you're able to install it, it will generate more detailed crash logs.

Bit of a weird one I put the drive in another pc so I could copy the kernel/system files on! But the drive booted straight into kodi so I put it back in its pc and all is back to normal.

Installed the build, trried to trigger the Kodi cash, no success yet, will keep this installed and continue observing. (OK, during testing a complete OS crash happened... from the garbage on screen I would guess display driver related.... but that's another issue).
