In that case you may need to open a trac ticket.

This is a known problem. The add-on still needs to be adapted to latest Kodi core code changes. The bad thing about this is that I'm not aware of any maintainer for this add-on. So, keep your fingers crossed that some dev steps up, otherwise ... this (and other pvr add-ons) may stay broken for a very long time / ever.

And, please don't shoot the messenger. ;-)
what about afedchin?

Thanks, will have a look into trac!
Nevertheless my log also here in this thread.
And here a short video with flickering on 1080i channels and smooth switching and correct osd info on 720p channels.
Hi again,

Will there be any more work on vfs.rar before official build? I've managed to get it installed on the latest build but still getting no video on my rar'd movies only audio playing as if it was an audio track.

Thanks.

If it doesn't work you should provide a debug log for the benefit of the maintainer.

I won't be re-introducing this addon into the builds.
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.
From tonight many PVR addons will not be included in the build as they no longer build after PR12552..

The following PVR addons will NOT be included until they are updated upstream:
Code:
pvr.argustv
pvr.demo
pvr.filmon
pvr.hdhomerun
pvr.iptvsimple
pvr.mediaportal.tvserver
pvr.mythtv
pvr.nextpvr
pvr.njoy
pvr.pctv
pvr.stalker
pvr.vbox
pvr.vuplus

At least +1 alpha/beta tester less.
By breaking everything at once and not react on trac tickets the devs have now created an alpha thats (at least for me) not able to do anything properly (eg black screen when watching video and just a few working pvr addons).
But hey, the hardcore testers will stay on board.

First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

I'll need a debug log - not sure what "Preparing 0%" refers to. Maybe a screenshot too? Could be an addon issue (try a "clean" .kodi?)

Sorry, I forgot to add that it's when I have enabled scan library on startup it's just stuck on "Preparing... 0%" and my Kodi box is connected to a QNAP with SMB.

EDIT: WTF! Now it works. Oh well, disregard my last statement. Time for bed...

This should be fixed in #0727.

It has been random when it shows up. But I will see if there is any change after vacation is over.
