Very often (not always) when I'm watching some streaming content (either Eurosport Player or Amazon VOD), when I press "back" on my remote (means the stream keeps running in the background) and navigate to the DVBS channel list and select the first channel from the list (Das Erste HD), kodi shows again the running stream fullsize and doesn't switch to the tv channel.
If I then try to navigate to the channel list again, select the second tv channel (ZDF HD). It switches to the tv channel directly and afterwards I'm able to select as well the first channel.

here is the log:
http://sprunge.us/LSiA
... I first tried to reproduce by opening Eurosport Player stream and then switch to first tv channel, what did work in this case. Afterwards tried the same by opening Amazon VOD stream first and then switch to the tv channel -> didn't work.

I will take a look. Thanks for reporting.

Cannot reproduce, sorry.

I'm experiencing the same issue, I'll try to post a log later this evening.

Thanks, but very detailed step by step instructions on how to reproduce would be more helpful in this case. There are many ways to switch from "normal video" to live tv channels and I'm afraid I'm using the wrong ones when trying to reproduce.
OK, here we go:

http://sprunge.us/FiNS

Logfile

How I reproduced:

- Starting Libreelec (Milhouse #0904) with last played TV-Channel (enabled in settings)

- navigating to Addon (or in my case to series, where I exported some series from netflix or amazon) and starting a stream. This works, stream starts.

- hitting "back" on my remote while stream is running, to come back to home menu

- navigating to TV-channels (last played channels) and selecting the one that played last (in my case "Das Erste HD")

- nothing happens, which means that TV does not start but the stream that is already playing (netflix) comes back to foreground

- hitting back on the remote to come back to home menu

- navigating to tv channels and selecting an other channel than the one that played last

- the stream (netflix) stops and TV kicks in with the channel selected (in this case "ZDF HD")

Is #0904 the first test build you've used? If you were using an earlier test build which didn't have this problem, then going back through the builds to work out when it started would be helpful.

A debug log would also be useful, if for no other reason to understand what hardware it is you are using (for instance, is your GPU an Intel, AMD or Nvidia?)

Also, are you testing with the stock Estuary skin? If not, see if you can reproduce the issue with stock Estuary please.

Yes, this will be interesting to see. Either Dropbox or Google Drive should be fine.

@Milhouse
First off, thanks again for all your hard work on this.

I am, however, having a problem with Builds #830 and on up. Build #829 will play HEVC 10bit local files (via SW decoding) just fine but as of #830 only 8bit HEVC files will play fine (via HW decoding) while 10bit HEVC files will play but with very garbled video. Audio is fine on both types. I have an Intel Core i-3 6100 CPU if that helps. Please let me know if you would like any logs. Thanks in advance.
Having audio issues after updating to #0905 from #0903.

#0903 plays all audio through whatever means but with #0905 there is no audio at all from any source, whether passthrough or not.

I went back to #0904 to see if the issue was present there and it is, so something between #0903 and #0904.

Audio Output Device is ALSA: Default (Intel HDMI/DP LPE Audeo Intel HDMI/DP LPE Audio)

Updated to #0906/7/8/9 to see if the issue still existed and it does.

Debug log: https://paste.ubuntu.com/25504573/

So seems to be an issue with the new 4.13.0 kernel.
I'm having no Audio problems running #0904 on Intel x86 hardware
In #0904 and #0905 I had the problem that my cifs mount scripts in config/system.d did not work anymore.
"dmesg | grep mount" led me to the solution. I had to add ver=2.1 to the Options line:
Code:
# Any options you usually use with the "-o" parameter in the mount command
Options=username=USERNAME,password=PASSWORD,vers=2.1

Should be fixed with next nightly. :-)
Can anyone confirm that the metadata is no longer updated when playing?

-> I retest from Scratch 1/ Install LE 8.1 2/ Upgrade to LE9 No issue 3/ Swap to mimic skin Issue is again back
It's obvious it's a skin issue, what is strange is that it does'nt occur on Kodi on WINdows
e8000 is braswell processor
Anywa Thanks for your help

Yes, this will be interesting to see. Either Dropbox or Google Drive should be fine.
See https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0...sp=sharing
Well , I don't think it's linked to the skin
1/ I installed LE8.1.1 (no issue!!!)
2/ I just configure the device name, & activating SSH
3/ Upgrade to LE 905
4/ Activate the logging
5/ Waiting necessary time ( to obtain strange display effect "Z-Like")

See paste pin on http://sprunge.us/OWJO
see Video on (@1sec & @8sec) https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2D-PR...1NSLXFyTHM
I'm using Atom Braswell e8000
Any advice ?

JP
I‘d updatet from #0830 to #0905 today and recognized a dramatically speedup of EPG loading and displaying! Thumbs up for it Big Grin
