 No.
First step to read the HDR metadata from the file and providing it for whoever user was done and is provided in latest Milhouse builds. You can base your code on that.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

i´ve installed the latest version. At first: great work :-) I´m running this version on a RPi3 and want to use my existing Hauppauge WinTV-Nova HD for the DVB-S signal. Is a driver implenentation planned for this card or it´s better for me to buy another DVB-S USB device? I´ve installed TVheadend and the Hauppauge driver package addon.

Thank you for s short feedback :-) I´ll hope i can also support this community in the future.

I asked a colleague more familiar with DVB stuff and this is his reply:
Quote:It is at the Hauppauge driver addon and should work already. All those drivers are currently upstreaming, so 4.17-18 should have already good support.
If this isn't working with the Hauppauge addon he should dmesg | paste
If you have a problem, please upload the requested log.
Thank you for your fast reply. Based on my daily work it was not earlier possible to check it. What did he mean with 4.17-18? My first idea was the kernel ...but there are 4.14 in use....
Please have a look at my dmesg :-) That would be great.

dmesg
Hi,

my last post is over 2 weeks ago. In the meanwhile i´ve completely reinstalled the system (formatted the sd card) and installed the latest version #0125
After that i installed the hauppauge dvb drivers and done a reboot, but TVheadend furthmore don´t see my hauppauge usb device. I have had a look on my system with the dmesg command, but can´t see the error. Can someone help me with my analzye of the issue? Thanks in advance

dmesg from today
As already mentioned in the raspi-thread, i´ve also noticed that the osd player control window is missing since build #0125.

Hi Milhouse,

Thanks for all your work. I upgraded to yesterday's build of LE Leia alpha for first time (Intel 5th Gen NUC).

I was testing a bunch of high res multichannel FLACs (work well as they do in Krypton!). I've always had problems with Quad (4 channel) PCM/FLAC always playing in stereo only - always thought this was my Denon AVR.

The interesting thing (for me yesterday) was I discovered my Denon AVR does play Quad (4.0) PCM/FLAC if I set Kodi audio output settings to 'Fixed' - 'Optimised' and 'Best Match' only produce stereo. I'm wondering if that's a Kodi bug. Not sure where to report this. Can you please comment/advise.

Please post a debug log (wiki).

Enable debug logging, reboot, then briefly play one of your FLAC files using Optimised or Best Match and then upload the kodi log (you can do this in LibreELEC Settings > System > Upload latest Kodi log), and make a note of the URL. Then repeat when using Fixed.

Post both URLs here (be sure to make it clear which is Fixed and which isn't!)

A sample FLAC file might also help.

If it's not obvious and nobody can help in this thread, then the next step is to open a ticket on trac.kodi.tv.

Thanks Milhouse. Will do today.
